Scentcillo is a small boutique business based in Sydney, Australia.
All our products are handcrafted using high quality ingredients. Everything from the concept and formulation of a product working through to the label design and choice of packaging is done by us to ensure high quality and a personal touch.
Our products are a result of many years of studies, research, personal experience and experimentation and a great belief and commitment in using plant based ingredients in skincare products that harness and capture, in a small way, the living energy of nature.
Scentcillo products are created to produce gentle yet effective skincare, with no unnecessary chemical ingredients that are harmful to the skin or refined ingredients that strip the product of its natural nutrients, aroma and colour.
We believe that it is important to respect what you put in or on your body and by creating our range we hope to educate and empower people to make choices and give them an option as to what they are putting on their skin.
Many plant derived ingredients have similar chemical compositions to our skin, so there is a complementary affinity with your skin. The synergistic effects of pure essential oils, vegetable oils and butters, vitamins and herbal extracts, which are used in Scentcillo products, help to maintain your skin in its best condition.
We also wanted to create a sensory story with each different scent in the Scentcillo range, to transport you to a different world with each aroma. Inspired by the culture and wonders of our world and using pure essential oils sourced from around the globe, Scentcillo products are in a nutshell pure scents inspired by our world.
The name Scentcillo is a combination of the word 'scent' and the Spanish word 'sencillo', meaning simple. This is reflected in our minimalist, Mondrian inspired packaging and design and sums up our philosophy and desire to create products with simplicity in mind, gentle, yet effective, using pure, natural ingredients, good quality and value without all the hype.
Why Use Scentcillo?

- There is a comprehensive ingredient listing on our labels.
- Only pure essential oils are used. There are no fragrant oils or synthetic fragrances or colours.
- Ingredients are plant based.
- We use high grade cold pressed fruit and nut oils, vegetable butters, vitamin extracts and organic herbal extracts.
- Only plant derived preservatives and antioxidants are used, i.e citrus seed extract, rosemary extract, vitamin E.
- Certified organic ingredients are used where possible.
- Our products do not contain sulphates, parabens, petrochemicals, propylene glycol, PEGs, silicones, lanolin or mineral oils.
- Skincare products are packaged in recyclable PET packaging to minimise their environmental impact. PET also does not react with essential oils as other plastics can. Plastic bottles have been chosen as they are safer in the bathroom. The essential oil blends are packaged in recyclable glass bottles.
- A dark blue colour has been chosen to protect the product from UV light, thus enhancing the life of the product and its effectiveness.
- Each product has been handmade in small batches to ensure quality and freshness.
- Since natural ingredients have been used there may be subtle variations in the colour and consistency each time our products are made. These variations do not affect the quality or efficacy of the product.
- 2% of our profits go to Greenfleet Australia. Greenfleet is a NGO environmental charity that offsets greenhouse emissions by planting native trees that soak up CO2 from the atmosphere. This also reduces salinity and soil erosion and provides a habitat for wildlife.
